Senior Mechanical Engineer

Be a part of Westinghouse's innovative team in Kitchener, ON, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This hybrid role focuses on developing complex electro-mechanical tooling and mentoring junior engineers.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will create 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive bills of materials. You'll work closely with the Manager of Maintenance Tooling Engineering and must operate onsite for two days each week. Your expertise will ensure compliance with design specifications and support the transition from prototype to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings for tooling

• Assemble and test custom equipment throughout design evolution

• Create test procedures for compliance with specifications

• Operate tooling systems at customer facilities

• Mentor junior engineering team members

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

• 5 years of relevant engineering experience

• Knowledge of design development and engineering change controls
