As part of Canada Life’s Finance Department, you will support financial planning and analysis through data management, reporting, and analytics. The position focuses on maintaining data integrity, reconciling reporting data with the General Ledger, and delivering timely financial and operational insights. Collaboration spans Finance, Commissions, and Sales Field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize data for month-end reporting and system updates
Consolidate and validate financial and operational data
Build recurring reports tracking trends, performance, and key metrics
Manage adjustments aligned with financial records
Perform ad-hoc analysis for stakeholder requests
Requirements:
Accounting, Finance, or relevant educational background
Two-plus years in financial analysis or data analytics
Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI data model experience
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
Experience with SAP and journal entries
Apply Finance Data Analyst expertise in Power BI, Excel, and data integrity to support Canada Life’s Kitchener FP&A team.
