Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant to fill an existing open position for our Kitchener Region!
Your Role
You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residenceYou can provide outstanding customer serviceYou have excellent communication skillsJob Type: Full-time
Salary: $ per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, to work up to 12-hour shiftsRequirements
Your Profile
You must possess the following qualifications:
You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year
1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.You have Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalentYou possess a valid G class driving licenseYou have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partnerYou can effectively communicate in both verbal and written EnglishYou are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screeningYou have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses),
* TB Skin Test (Step
1)
* must be valid within last 12 monthsYou have successfully completed High School or can provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diplomaYour Location
