CareKW is looking for a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide support to patients at various local facilities.
Your role will involve implementing treatment plans, assisting clients with specific care activities, and monitoring their rehabilitation progress. You will work closely with an Occupational Therapist to ensure effective patient outcomes and enhanced service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with hands-on patient care tasks
• Implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Document and monitor patient progress closely
• Support clients during therapeutic activities
• Complete additional assignments from the OT or supervisor
Requirements:
• OTA diploma from an accredited institution
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification necessary
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening required
• Up-to-date immunization records needed
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred
