Systems Engineer – SLC Management What is in it for you:SLC Management is seeking an experienced Operations or Production Support Lead. They will be providing world class support to all SLC business critical applications and systems. Our IT Ops team resolves issues ranging from general guidance through technical deep dives identifying and resolving complex configuration and 3rd party integration issues. Support teams also interact heavily with other IT teams, both development and support and business teams during North America business hours.

What you will do:Mentor junior team membersDrive automation and process improvements across operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams globally (Canada, USA, Ireland, India)Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of supported systemsProactively identify and resolve systemic issuesOwnership for end-to-end defect resolution, analysis and documentation.Manage Releases and DeploymentsRisk identification and risk mitigation strategies for various operations initiativesSupport large Operations programs like Disaster Recovery exercise, planning and executionDrive effective business and technical discussionParticipate in hiring process to hire and build/grow teamBehavioral CompetenciesStrong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to work effectively in a changing environment balancing operations and project deliveryDemonstrated leadership and team-building skillsExcellent stakeholder management and communication across all levelsStrategic thinking with a focus on business outcomesStrong accountability and ownership of deliverablesAdaptability to changes in technologies and business needsCommitment to continuous learning and upskillingWhat you need to succeed:A degree in Computer Science, related technology degree, or equivalent experience.Advanced proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake) including performance tuning and optimizationDeep expertise in one of coding platforms:
