POSITION SUMMARY
Shift-based role in a 24x7x365 facilityMonitor Black Berry Infrastructure and ServicesCoordinate Incident ResponseRemediates issues where possibleImplement Structured ChangesDocument EventsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor the Black Berry Infrastructure using a variety of tools and react to alertsLog alerts and relate them to an incident or a ChangeBe aware of resolution targets for all ServicesEngage relevant Support Teams and work with them as a team until the incident is resolvedBe prepared to escalate an issue to Management in order to drive resolutionDocument and record steps taken towards resolution of an incident and add this to the knowledge database for future referral.Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous delivery of Black Berry ServicesAct as the first point of contact for partner NOCsAction Customer escalations from Customer Service OperationsActively participate in, and suggest projects to improve the technical or working environmentESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary diploma in Computer Systems, Systems Administration, or a related disciplineRelevant experience in an IT Administration or Network Operations settingExperience with Public Cloud, especially Azure and AWSExperience with virtual systems management such as Open NebulaSystem administration experience with Windows, Linux, UbuntuExperience with Storage systems (Net App)Communicate well and a maintain a positive attitude in stressful situationsAbility to troubleshoot hardware and software related issuesWork well in a team environmentLearn and Share KnowledgeWork rotating shifts including nights and weekendsADDITIONAL ASSETS
Networking knowledge and experience with CarriersCustomer Service and Incident ManagementExperience with Databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Maria DB)Experience with middleware such as Apache, JBOSS, Web LogicExperience with JIRAPrevious knowledge of Black Berry#LI-NR1

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:
$65,600.00 - $92,250.00
Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
