We are seeking a Principal Developer to lead AI and developer integration initiatives. The role reports to the VP of Engineering and will shape 1

Password’s technical integration strategy with the wider security ecosystem.

This highly technical position operates at the intersection of development and agentic solutions, making key architectural decisions and driving R&D. The responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and define integration paths with key partners and design reference architectures.
• Prototype next‑generation solutions that extend 1
  
  Password’s platform into emerging domains such as agentic AI, new communication protocols, browser, and runtime‑based security controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Product, Business Development, and GTM teams to identify high‑impact integration opportunities, validate technical feasibility, and deliver partner‑ready pre‑production proof‑of‑concepts.
• Ensure 1
  
  Password leads the evolving identity and security ecosystem by shaping today’s and tomorrow’s integration strategies.

• 15+ years in software engineering or solutions architecture with at least 5 years designing and implementing complex integrations in SaaS, identity, or cybersecurity.
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management standards and protocols: SAML, OIDC, SCIM, OAuth2, JWT, session termination patterns.
• Hands‑on experience building integrations with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and security tools (SIEM, SOAR, IdPs).
• Pro‑ven ability to prototype and deliver software in Go, Python, or Type Script.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent technical strategy to executives, partners, and customers.

• Familiarity with confidential computing, secure enclave design, browser extension/runtime modification, and AI agent architectures.

• Define and prioritize integration paths with strategic partners across the identity, security, and developer ecosystem.
• Rapidly prototype advanced integrations such as MCP connectors, credential brokers, and agentic AI security workflows; demonstrate feasibility as a technical proof point for productization.
• Develop reusable reference architectures and integration blueprints, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and align with 1
  
  Password’s identity security principles.
• Close collaboration with Engineering, Security, Product, and Business Development teams to translate opportunities into impactful product outcomes.
• Drive innovation by exploring novel use cases around browser‑based PAM, confidential computing for session management, and AI‑driven security automation.

  Password’s integration vision in technical forums, partner conversations, and industry events.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on integration security models, including token management, encryption, and identity lifecycle management.

USA‑based roles: annual base salary between $291,000 USD and $437,000 USD, plus 401(k), health and dental benefits, paid time off, equity grant, and incentive programs.

Canada‑based roles: annual base salary between $240,000 CAD and $360,000 CAD, plus RRSP, health and dental benefits, paid time off, equity grant, and incentive programs.
