Your role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to effectively leverage big data and provide accurate, actionable insights that address key business questions. This role is based in and reports to the Sr Manager, Analytics Engineering in Argentina. The candidate must be available to work during California overlapping hours (9AM to 5PM PST). Dialpad’s data team acts as a centralized hub, supporting the analytics and business intelligence needs of all global departments such as Finance, Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Legal, HR, and Sales.

The team is responsible for data ingestion, ensuring data quality, managing data engineering, and delivering business analytics services, including report automation and descriptive and predictive analytics.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with the AI Transformation team and data analysts supporting different departments to build datasets and to deliver analyses that enable AI engineers to develop internal AI products and workflows.

Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data from multiple sources and generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing to uncover trends and opportunities.

Develop and deploy predictive machine learning models to enhance product experiences, forecast business outcomes, and support growth initiatives.

Design and maintain a suite of automated, accurate, and reliable dashboards to enable self-service analytics.

Define data model requirements and document business logic to support the Data Engineering team in creating curated datasets for reporting and analysis.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability.

Monitor business performance using automated dashboards and ad hoc analysis, delivering actionable insights to leadership.

Work with analysts and engineers across the organization to establish best practices and improve data processes and utilization.

Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.

Skills You’ll Bring

5+ years of advanced data analytics experience using big data.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders or AI Analysts to define requirements, drive analytics, and deliver effective insights.

Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Team Leads, with a demonstrated track record of successfully working with offshore teams and delivering complex projects on time.

Advanced SQL development skills for data exploration and analysis.
