Waterloo Region District School Board seeks an Infrastructure Analyst to enhance its IT systems, focusing on Active Directory and Cloud integration. Empower educational success for 65,000 students through technology.
This full-time role under the Educational Support Staff category contributes significantly to the planning and maintaining of the Board’s IT infrastructure. Collaborating across teams, you will tackle complex IT challenges and ensure systems' reliability and security while providing expert support in project management and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and maintaining IT systems
• Lead technical projects to improve infrastructure
• Support troubleshooting for critical technical issues
• Recommend and implement system enhancements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
Requirements:
• University degree or 3-year diploma in relevant field
• 3 years of experience in IT support and customer service
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, such as Azure
• Proficient with operating systems and network management
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
