Python​/React Full Stack Developer

One of TEKsystems Automotive clients is seeking a mid-level Software Developer with strong expertise in Python, REST API integrations, and AI/MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.

This role focuses on designing and building custom applications and intelligent automation solutions to extend the Atlassian ecosystem and integrate it with enterprise SaaS platforms.

You will partner with an established Atlassian admin team (handling day-to-day operations), allowing you to focus on backend development, integrations, and AI-driven automation. The role spans Python-based backend services, React components, and building MCP servers to enable AI-assisted workflows within Jira, Confluence, and JSM.

Ideal Candidate Profile (A+ on Paper):

• Strong Python engineer with integration-heavy experience

• Hands-on experience connecting enterprise SaaS platforms via APIs

• Exposure to AI tooling, automation frameworks, or MCP concepts

• Experience working in structured Dev Ops environments with CI/CD

• Familiarity with Atlassian products and enterprise workflows

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Day to Day Responsibilities & Percentage Breakdown:

1.Backend Development & Integrations (50%)

o Build Python-based services and automation workflows

o Develop and maintain REST API integrations across SaaS systems

2. Frontend & UI Components (20%)

o Develop React-based components for internal tools and integrations

3. AI & Platform Enablement (20%)

o Build MCP servers and enable AI-driven automation across Atlassian tools

4. Collaboration & Dev Ops (10%)

o Work with Atlassian admins, participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews
