Overview: We are seeking an Archer Configurator Analyst to join our client's team. This role is essential in supporting business partners by providing advanced credit risk management technology systems. These systems facilitate the disclosure of regulatory capital to the AMF and the calculation of economic capital. Additionally, the team is responsible for expertise in the ecosystem that serves the non-financial risk and compliance sectors.
Role Summary: As an Archer Configurator Analyst, you will be instrumental in analyzing the requirements of product owners and business partners. Your primary focus will be to assist them in defining their needs and guiding them toward suitable functional technology solutions, all while considering budget constraints and project timelines. You will contribute to the implementation of various solutions utilizing the Archer software suite.
Your responsibilities will include designing, configuring, administering, maintaining, and evolving these technology solutions, ensuring their stability as usage increases. You may also serve as a key resource within the project team for the implementation of different applications of the Archer software. Collaboration with business partners to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance services, tools, processes, and workflows will be a significant part of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners to develop requirements and manage product backlogs.
- Define functional specifications in partnership with the Product Owner and project team.
- Design, configure, administer, maintain, and evolve Archer software solutions, ensuring stability as usage grows.
- Participate in defining, orienting, and refining various delivery scopes, including stories, sprint planning, retrospectives, and testing.
- Lead the development of strategies for functional testing.
- Define and execute automated and/or manual end-to-end testing.
- Produce or update necessary documentation.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in a Functional Analyst role.
- Experience in information technology.
- Familiarity with Agile work environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in operational risk is a plus.
- Knowledge of the banking risk sector is advantageous.
- Understanding of the software package lifecycle, ideally with Archer, is preferred.
