GDIT is searching for a Senior System Administrator to deliver 24/7 operational support, including Tier 1/2 assistance in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must possess a strong foundation in IT and networking, and experience with monitoring tools such as Solar Winds and Splunk. This position requires on-site engagement, responding to urgent needs and ensuring systems' optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor IT systems for performance and capacity
• Triage hardware/software/network malfunctions
• Provide solutions to users during critical situations
• Oversee daily functional checks on systems
• Interface with multiple teams for issue resolution
Requirements:
• 8+ years in IT/Network administration
• TS/SCI security clearance required
• Experience with Solar Winds, Splunk, or Wire Shark
• Knowledge of HVAC and power infrastructure
• Compliance with DoD 8570 certifications
