Position: Security Operations Director at Payscale
Take the helm of security at Payscale as the Director of Security Engineering and Operations in a flexible remote-first model. Balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in both security and engineering.

The Director will play a critical role in shaping Payscale's security landscape. Your expertise will guide the development of security controls, incident management, and team skill enhancement. Collaborate across teams to embed security by design and drive zero-trust adoption throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of security automation

• Manage incident response events and escalations

• Mentor and develop the security engineering team

• Lead vulnerability and exposure management initiatives

• Coordinate security program roadmap and metrics reporting

Requirements:

• 10+ years in information security, leadership in the field required

• Proven track record with security engineering and operations roles

• Strong background in cloud and identity management

• Familiarity with Crowd Strike and other security platforms

• Automation experience in Power Shell, Python, or similar languages
