Interim Supply Chain Leadership Role

Join a leading international manufacturer as the Interim Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager in Kitchener, Ontario. This essential 6-month assignment seeks a hands-on leader committed to stabilizing supply chain operations and enhancing procurement effectiveness.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and global teams to optimize inventory, strengthen supplier performance, and improve operational processes. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring material availability and supporting production continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee purchasing and inventory management workflows

• Prioritize uninterrupted supply for production objectives

• Identify risks and implement effective mitigations

• Manage supplier performance and negotiate agreements

• Initiate Lean and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years in Supply Chain or Procurement leadership

• Proven experience in a manufacturing setting

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
