Roving Maintenance Technician, Residential

Company Description
Our client is one of the largest and fastest growing residential owner and operators with a strong national presence in Canada. With over $10 billion dollars in assets, they are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for traveling between residential buildings in the in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. In this role, you will be responsible predominantly for property maintenance including building mechanical systems.

Compensation
$45,000 – $50,000 annually plus additional perks.
Position Description
As the successful candidates, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring tenant requests are fulfilled and dealt with in a timely mannerEnsuring work orders are organized and tackled in priority sequenceResponsible for building maintenance and repairsMinor electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairsRespond to afterhours emergenciesManaging one other maintenance associate and subcontractors while on siteEnsuring the common areas are clean and well maintained on a regular basisExperience
Have experience in building maintenance within high rise residentialHave strong communication skills, able to manage client relationshipsHave excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feetHave strong maintenance skills and the ability to direct other maintenance associates and organize work order based on priorityMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentStrong ability to work independently and in a team environmentQualifications
Strong maintenance experienceMUST have a vehicle
