General Laborer

Opportunity
Responsible for providing support to the service department as well as to branch operations including, but not limited to, building maintenance, both inside and outside of the building.

Role

Valid forklift operator ticket or ability to obtain one

Able to operate forklifts, wheel loaders, excavators, etc.

G class or higher driver's license

Mechanically inclined: able to boost machines, disconnect batteries, and identify problems when shipping and receiving machines

Can use basic Microsoft applications

Can use a cell phone

Effective communication skills; works with drivers, sales team, managers

Ship machines (paperwork, pictures, uploading to shared drive)

Receive machines (paperwork, pictures, uploading to shared drive)

Load & unload machines

Load & unload attachments using forklift and other material handling equipment

Yard organization & cleanup

Daily yard checks of equipment (security)

Inventory checks

Look for machines and attachments for the sales team & take pictures

Shop cleanup; sweeping, garbage, organization

Clean machines both for sales team & customer units

Responsible for scrap metal, wood bins, garbage, snow removal and front yard maintenance

Candidate

Education:

High School;
Forklift certification an asset.

Work Experience:

6-12 months.

Knowledge:  Some knowledge of mechanics.
