Friendship Maintenance Worker

Make a difference in your community with House of Friendship as a Maintenance Worker. Focus on grounds upkeep and engage in team efforts with program participants.
This full-time role offers 37.5 hours a week on a contract basis from June 22, 2026, to December 31, 2026. You will work Monday to Friday, ensuring all grounds and facilities remain clean and functional. The role includes a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks and involves active participation with community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct seasonal grounds maintenance tasks like raking and trimming
• Ensure cleanliness of outdoor and indoor spaces
• Collaborate with participants to complete cleaning duties
• Support maintenance staff during service work
• Respond promptly to repair requests as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in maintenance
• G class driver's license and reliable vehicle is necessary
• Understanding of health and safety regulations preferred
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills essential
