Generalist Building Maintenance Technician

Take on a critical role as a Generalist Building Maintenance Technician with the City of Kitchener. Your focus will be on performing diverse maintenance tasks across city facilities.

In this position, you'll conduct a wide range of maintenance activities, from urgent repairs to preventative upkeep. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general repairs and minor renovations

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests

• Work with clients and trades for scheduling

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders

• Monitor and improve facility conditions

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education

• Good standing 'G' class driver’s license

• Familiarity with building maintenance

• Ability to execute drywall and painting tasks

• Proven reliability and workforce ethics
