Part-Time Custodian at Bethany Church

Become a vital part of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church as a part-time Custodian in Kitchener. Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for worship and community activities.

This position requires a reliable individual to assist with cleaning, maintenance, and event setup at the church. You'll report to the Facilities Manager and play a critical role in helping maintain a safe and orderly space for daily ministry activities and special events. Ideal candidates will possess strong cleaning and repair skills, along with a commitment to service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize washrooms and public spaces

• Vacuum carpets and conduct spot cleaning

• Dust surfaces and eliminate cobwebs effectively

• Assist with setup and teardown for church events

• Report safety and sanitation hazards promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Basic repair skills in plumbing and electrical

• Ability to lift 50 pounds physically

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
