The Municipality of North Perth is currently seeking

Seasonal Equipment Operators to support with weekend coverage for the upcoming winter!

Working alongside the Roads team, the operators will be responsible for assisting with winter operations including road patrol, snow removal on roads and sidewalks as well as construction and maintenance as needed.

• Secondary School Diploma
• DZ or AZ license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working in construction or a related field.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment. Grader and front-end loader experience is an asset.
• Completion of a satisfactory criminal record check.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, as required for snow removal operations.

Applicants must be committed to weekendon-call requirements between November 2026 and April 2027 and be available on a call-in basis(weather dependent).A winter schedule will be provided in advance.

The salary range for this position is $31.68 - $39.60 per hourplus standbypayaccording to the HR Policy. Salary will align with experience and qualifications. North Perth offers optional enrollment in the OMERS pension plan for contract staff.
