Support Residents through housekeeping and laundry as a part-time Environmental Service Worker in Kitchener, Ontario, using cleaning and infection-control skills.
S&R Group seeks an Environmental Service Worker for long-term care within its Environmental Services department. The position combines Resident laundry, room and common-area cleaning, disinfection, and safe product handling. It supports a welcoming, safe, homelike environment while following WHMIS and Health & Safety Standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Wash and dry Residents' clothing and linens
- Disinfect and clean to support infection control
- Clean rooms, common areas, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces
- Follow WHMIS and safe cleaning-product handling procedures
- Assist coworkers and cover required shifts
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Housekeeping and laundry experience
- Commercial laundry and cleaning equipment operation ability
- Vulnerable Sector Screening completed within six months
- TB 2 Step updated within the last year
