Maintenance Coordinator Long-Term Care

Keep Age Care residences safe through electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and heating maintenance. This role supports residents, staff, and public safety daily.

As Maintenance Coordinator, you will perform varied building equipment and systems maintenance in a long-term care environment. Duties include preventative inspections, repairs, record keeping, and maintaining clean, safe areas. You will support resident care by repairing equipment and assisting with electrical and mechanical systems.

• Complete scheduled fire and preventative inspections
• Repair equipment affecting resident care
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and heating systems
• Paint resident rooms and common areas
• Keep walkways clear of snow, ice, and debris

• Secondary school education with supplemental technical training
• Previous similar experience in a related capacity
• Working knowledge of WHMIS
• Valid provincial driver's license
• Ability to perform required physical duties
