Loader Operator

Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a Loader Operator. This role is based primarily at our Kitchener, ON plant but may require work at other plant locations, as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing
Safely operate loader and other heavy equipment to support daily ready‑mix plant operations.

Load and move aggregate materials, feed plant hoppers, and manage stockpiles to maintain operational efficiency.

Perform pre‑use inspections and promptly report equipment, safety, or maintenance concerns.

Monitor material handling practices to help prevent contamination and support quality control standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while assisting with general labour duties as required.

What Are We Looking For
Strong commitment to safety and compliance with workplace policies and procedures.

Attention to detail with a focus on quality and contamination prevention.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced plant environment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills to support plant operations.

Capability to operate heavy equipment and safely lift, climb, and enter/exit equipment in an outdoor setting.

Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment background check.

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

$31.95 per hour
