Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine sample preparation and analysis using ICP, GC ECD, Bomb Calorimeter, Auto Titrator and Karl-Fischer.
- Sample drums and perform compatibility testing and analysis.
- Report analytical results and coordinate with production personnel.
- Maintain accurate analysis, maintenance, and production records.
- Assist other facility operators as needed.
- Perform general laboratory and facility housekeeping duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor.
- Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist of related Diploma.
- Previous lab experience is an asset.
- Competent computer skills (MS Windows and Office).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be motivated, able to multi-task, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be safety conscious and detail oriented.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work with minimum supervision.
- Willing to work overtime, alternate shifts and occasional weekends.
