Automotive Maintenance Manager

As a hands-on leader, you will manage a team of 25–30 tradespeople, supporting their development and maintaining equipment reliability. With a strong background as a Millwright, Electrician, or Automation Technician, your expertise will drive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a skilled trades team in daily operations
• Build and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Oversee building systems and facility upgrades for optimal performance
• Support troubleshooting of PLCs, robotics, and automated production lines
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues
Requirements:
• Background in Millwright, Tool & Die Maker, or Electrician
• 5+ years in maintenance leadership within automotive manufacturing
• Hands-on expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, and CNC systems
• Proven ability to manage teams in union or non-union settings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
