Waste Processing Technician II 1st Shift & 2nd Shift flexibilty

About the role  The Waste Processing Technician II (WPT II) is a mid-level position within facility operations  WPT II will have experience and be capable of conducting industrial waste processing on all waste streams utilizing the various technologies and equipment available with little direct oversight.
Responsibilities   Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
Operate a variety of equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
Safely operate mobile equipment (e.g., yard dog) within the facility boundaries.
Offload inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
Perform waste stream QA/QC & lab analysis associated with receiving and shipping waste and material.
Complete and submit all facility‑associated paperwork (facility receiving, piece count, material verification, manifest review, etc.) for regulatory and safety record keeping.
Perform general cleaning of facility and grounds.
Requirements   High School Diploma / GED required.
1+ year of experience.
Flexibility to work on day or afternoon shift.
Ability to pass respirator fit test.
Ability to utilize Net Suite (preferred but not required).
Exercise good judgement and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrate attention to detail and time management.
Operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, twist for extended periods.
Walk, stand or sit for extended periods.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Employees may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift. Pay ranges for the primary location: $49,700.00 - $66,100.00 CAD.
