This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a global leader in the field. As a Blender Operator, you will be at the heart of the production process, ensuring that raw materials are transformed into high‑quality components.
Shift and Requirements
Available for straight afternoon shifts (6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.). Must be able to train on days for a couple of weeks. Requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the blending of pigments, bulk ingredients, and resin with precision, following strict mixing guidelines for the plastics manufacturing industry.
Accurately identify and handle blends, ensuring the highest quality standards are met for every batch.
Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices for efficient material usage and inventory management.
Operate heavy equipment such as high‑intensity mixers, ribbon blenders, and drum tumblers to achieve uniform blends.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blending and resin handling systems to prevent cross‑contamination.
Drive a forklift to move raw materials and finished blends safely throughout the facility.
Monitor machine gauges and instruments to ensure the Blender Operator tasks are performed within set parameters.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols regarding chemical handling and dust control.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and logistics environment preferred.
Minimum one year forklift experience (no license required).
Physical ability to stand for 6–8 hours and lift up to 25 kg regularly.
Comfortable wearing a respirator; clean‑shaven policy to ensure a proper seal.
Comfortable working in a smoke‑free environment (no smoking permitted on site, even during breaks).
Strong attendance record and adherence to company safety policies.
