Advance your career as a Lead Hand in our Turning Department, where you can utilize your CNC expertise in a dynamic job-shop setting. We specialize in custom, precision-machined components and need your proven problem-solving skills.
This full-time role requires a minimum of four years' experience with Fanuc-based CNC lathes. As Lead Hand, you will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes while guiding your team in production runs. Expect to work with a variety of materials and ensure precise tolerances while adapting to ever-changing production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program and operate CNC lathes – 2 to 8 axis
• Maintain tolerances of ±0.0005"
• Troubleshoot production issues independently
• Train and monitor machine operators' performance
• Set up production jobs for operators
Requirements:
• 4+ years of CNC lathe operation experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of Mastercam 2025 programming
• Macro knowledge required
