You will be responsible for cleaning hatching machines, ensuring clarity in the Hatcher Room, and adhering to critical sanitation processes. Prior experience isn’t required; on-the-job training will be provided, preparing you for success in this important role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize hatchery equipment daily
• Maintain air quality by sanitizing Hatcher Exhaust Tunnel
• Safely mix and apply cleaning chemicals
• Check for live animals and perform humane euthanasia if necessary
• Assist with imported chick sanitation procedures
Requirements:
• Flexible hours until tasks are complete
• Physically able to stand long periods and lift 40 lbs
• Follow sanitation schedules and health protocols
• Adhere to CFIA standards and policies
• No formal education required; training provided
