As part of the Mine Department, you will report to the Mine Supervisor and contribute to achieving production goals aligned with Agnico Eagle’s mission. You'll need to prioritize health and safety while efficiently operating scoops and potentially other equipment connected to production. A commitment to our values of trust and respect is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CAT and Sandvik Scoops, 8 yards and 12 yards
• Follow Health and Safety and quality standards diligently
• Meet production requirements safely and efficiently
• Ensure team safety during all tasks
• Operate additional production-related equipment as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 4000 hours of scoop operation experience
• 2000 hours on remote scoop operation preferred
• Certification from Nunavut Arctic College or equivalent
• Valid Approval Letter under Explosives Regulations
