As our next CNC Setter Operator Co-op, you'll support the production team by setting up and operating CNC equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping maintain efficient manufacturing operations. You'll gain valuable hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment while developing your machining and problem‑solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Set up CNC machines and install/remove tooling, chucks, collets, and adapters as required.
  • Load and unload parts while maintaining production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine performance, make size adjustments, and index cutting inserts as required.
  • Collect and chart SPC data according to process specifications.
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives within the department.
What We're Looking For:
  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining or related Manufacturing program.
  • Basic knowledge of machining principles, CNC equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of CNC controls and programming fundamentals.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
