- Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment
- Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine
- Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
- Required to train other operators as needed
- Grade 12 diploma
- Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret production prints
- Required computer skills to access production procedures
Demonstrates expertise in operating production processes, including CNC and manual equipment, while ensuring quality control and performing maintenance. Proficient in reading production prints and utilizing precision measuring equipment for quality assessment.
