Manufacturing Machine Center Operator

Work across machine centers and manufacturing duties at Columbia Forest Products in Kitchener, with full-time dayshift hours Monday through Thursday.

As a Production Team Member, you will rotate among different job duties in a hardwood plywood and veneer manufacturing facility. The work can include operating around the putty line, spreader, hot press, and sander. You may also handle materials, complete quality checks, clean up, and perform similar manufacturing activities.

• Rotate to different machine centers and production duties
• Work around the putty line and spreader
• Work around the hot press and sander
• Handle production materials safely and efficiently
• Perform quality checks, cleanup, and related activities

• Ability to work various jobs in production
• Ability to use required personal safety equipment
• Ability to work near moving machinery
• Ability to work near forklift traffic and machine noise
• Forklift operation experience is an asset
