Use drawing interpretation and machine operation as a full-time permanent Labourer (Layout Person) with Wes Tower Communications Ltd. Join its Fabrication Team and develop steel fabrication skills.
This Labourer (Layout Person) supports production by translating drawings into measurements and producing quality parts. The work includes operating band saws, ironworkers, radial drills, grinders, and overhead cranes. Preventative maintenance and safe machine setup are also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow all workplace safety procedures
- Operate band saws, ironworkers, radial drills, grinders, and overhead cranes
- Set up machines properly for production
- Translate drawings into production measurements
- Produce quality parts and mark out holes
- Ability to read a metric tape measure
- Good work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Steel fabrication experience is an asset
- Willingness to learn steel fabrication skills
