Location: Stratford
COBS Bread needs a production-focused Baker skilled in measuring, mixing, shaping dough, and processing products through ovens.
This Baker position supports daily production from scratch in a small bakery team. You will follow recipes and production schedules while creating artisan bread and delicious treats. The work also includes cleaning the bakery, supporting customer experience, and contributing to the bakery’s success and your own development.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow recipes while producing fresh bakery items
- Review production schedules before preparing ingredients
- Measure and mix ingredients for doughs
- Mould and shape dough before oven processing
- Contribute to bakery cleanliness and customer experience
- Positive attitude in daily bakery work
- Strong organizational skills for production tasks
- Initiative to look for things to do
- Frequent turning, reaching, and lifting requirements
- Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to 1.7 metres
