Fabricate aircraft wire harnesses using electrical schematics, crimping tools, and testing equipment in an afternoon production schedule.
De Havilland Aircraft of Canada seeks a Wire Harness Fabricator for precise off-aircraft production. You will interpret wiring diagrams, build harnesses from documentation, and prepare assemblies for installation. The work supports avionics design services and aircraft modifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layout drawings
- Cut, strip, terminate, and crimp wires and cables
- Route and bundle harnesses using specified materials
- Install connectors, back shells, contacts, and splices
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance checks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One to two years electrical assembly experience preferred
- Wire harness fabrication experience preferred
- Aerospace or aviation experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
