About the RoleAs a Brand Engagement Supervisor
, you will develop and deploy multi-category brand engagement and experiential programs that bring a smokefree vision to life. You’ll collaborate across Customer Experience, Category, Trade Marketing, Procurement, Orchestration
, and agency partners to deliver face-to-face and digital campaigns that create seamless journeys for legal age consumers.
Travel: This role requires 50–70% travel within Canada
.
Secondment: In the execution of this role, you will be required to be seconded to a major client of Community. This secondment includes reporting to work at our client’s offices and taking direction and supervision directly from our client.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute a multi-category brand engagement strategy that translates consumer insights and demand moments into high-impact activations across channels (F2F & digital).
- Design omnichannel engagement campaigns that deliver frictionless legal age consumer journeys, from awareness and trial to conversion and retention.
- Establish methodologies and best practices that maximize qualified interactions, product education, and compliant trial.
Budget Ownership
- Prepare and manage detailed experiential marketing budgets aligned to channel strategy and campaign plans; oversee financial rigor across planning, build, deployment, and optimization.
- Define KPIs; lead After-action Reviews to evaluate program efficacy, codify learnings, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Category, Brand Communications, Digital, and Trade to identify priority moments and touchpoints (including LAMPs—Legal Aged Meeting Places), crafting data-driven journeys for impactful intercepts.
- Own external agency relationships in close collaboration with category teams; brief, evaluate, and guide partners to deliver 360° experiential concepts from prototype to scale.
- Ensure compliant execution and on-brand design across all assets, environments, and communications.
Field Team Leadership
- Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance of in-field execution teams.
- Provide on-site leadership
—supporting setup, live operations, optimization, and teardown—to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in brand engagement/experiential marketing within consumer goods (multi-category experience as an asset).
- Proven ability to translate insights into experiences that drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong project leadership
: structured planning, prioritization, and cross-functional orchestration. - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management.
- Collaborative, creative, and hands-on
—comfortable leading both strategy and execution.
Note:
Experience with in highly regulated industries is considered an asset (e.g., cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, cosmetics, pharma and financial institutions)
