KWAG is looking for a Community Accessibility Coordinator for a transformative year-long project funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Your key responsibility will be to implement strategies to improve access across KWAG’s public offerings. Collaboration with an Accessibility Consultant will guide your work in running the 'Access Saturdays' program and developing essential resources like the Access Toolkit and Guide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the new Access Saturdays program coordination
• Support community and public engagement for better access
• Create accessibility toolkits for internal and visitor use
• Manage logistics for the upcoming Access in the Arts symposium
• Attend events to strengthen community connections
Requirements:
• Experience in coordinating accessibility initiatives
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
• Knowledge of arts accessibility best practices
• Strong commitment to community engagement
