Registered Practical Nurse - OBS​/Surgical Team

Join Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a Registered Practical Nurse in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit. This temporary part-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

The hospital is looking for a temporary part-time RPN who is registered with the Ontario College of Nurses. Preferred qualifications include a maternal child course, breastfeeding training, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential nursing care in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit

• Collaborate with various healthcare team members for patient support

• Accurately document patient care and progress

• Administer medications and IV therapy under supervision

• Engage in continuous education and professional development

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Certification in BCLS, IV Med Administration, and prefer other courses

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting

• Availability for various shifts as per departmental needs

• Required Police Vulnerable Sector Check and Health Assessment
