Care as a Registered Nurse dedicated to senior care. Lead comprehensive nursing practices that ensure the well-being and health of residents in a nurturing environment.
In this role, you will oversee nursing care delivery, adhering strictly to legislative and company standards while guiding a team of Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, administering medications, and developing care plans tailored to residents' needs. In addition, you'll actively participate in team communication and quality assurance measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care focused on health and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with legislation
• Oversee medication administration and monitor resident health
• Provide training and performance oversight for nursing staff
• Foster communication between healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong clinical knowledge and supervisory skills
• Experience in Long-Term Care is advantageous
• Skills in communication, critical thinking, and care coordination
• Commitment to ongoing education and training
