Fonemed is on the lookout for passionate Nurse Practitioners to expand its virtual care team. You will assess and diagnose patient needs using video and telephone technology. This role requires independent practice and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patient needs and determine urgency of care
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Document client interactions in health records
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when appropriate
Requirements:
• Graduation from an NP program
• Current or pending NP licensure in Newfoundland
• Minimum 1 year of relevant NP experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Technologically proficient for virtual consultations
