Become part of Humber River Health's innovative team as a Full-Time Critical Care Nurse, serving the community's cardiac and surgical patients. This role features hands-on learning with advanced healthcare technologies.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated registered nurses committed to providing high-quality care in our Critical Care Unit. You will receive paid training for the Critical Care Certificate Program, including practical orientations. Enhance your nursing skills through multidisciplinary collaboration in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care for acutely ill patients in critical situations
• Conduct hemodynamic and ventilation monitoring
• Coordinate patient-centered care approaches with the healthcare team
• Record patient data using advanced computerized systems
• Serve on project teams and hospital committees
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with Ontario's College of Nurses
• Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
• At least 1 year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Preferred completion of Ontario Post-Secondary Coronary Care Course
• Strong communication and organizational skills
