Step into an impactful role at WRHN @ Midtown as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner focused on obstetric care. Provide essential services and education for patients throughout their pregnancy journey.
In this temporary full-time position, you will collaborate with a range of medical professionals to support maternal and fetal well-being. You will be responsible for prenatal assessments, treatment of common obstetric issues, and providing resources for families in need. Your work will significantly impact patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they receive the best possible care during their early trimesters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct prenatal health screenings and assessments
• Educate families about pregnancy and newborn care
• Diagnose and treat obstetric conditions effectively
• Order and interpret imaging and laboratory tests
• Document interactions in the Electronic Medical Record
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as EC RN or NP
• Required Master’s degree in Nursing
• 3-5 years’ current experience in Perinatal Nursing
• Must possess BCLS certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
