Part-Time Registered Nurse

Position: Part-Time Registered Nurse at Niagara Health
Join the neonatal team at Niagara Health in St. Catharines as a part-time Registered Nurse. This role emphasizes compassionate care and specialized neonatal skills while ensuring patient-centered service.

The Registered Nurse will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Marotta Family Hospital. You are required to demonstrate your nursing expertise through assessments, patient care plan development, and implementation activities.

Your role will significantly contribute to high-quality patient care while also accommodating required certifications in neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and develop nursing care plans

• Implement and evaluate integrated patient care strategies

• Maintain excellent documentation per CNO standards

• Promote breastfeeding and family-centered care

• Educate patients and families on health and wellness

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• One year of NICU experience in the last three years

• Neonatal Resuscitation and BCLS certifications required

• Knowledge in physical assessment skills

• Commitment to patient-centered care values
