Humber River Health Occupational Health Nurse

Become an integral part of Humber River Health as an Occupational Health Nurse dedicated to safety and wellness in the workplace.

This role offers part-time hours focused on health assessments and employee education.

Reporting to the Director of Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining health standards for employees, volunteers, and affiliated members. You'll conduct health reviews, manage exposures, and develop wellness initiatives to promote a healthy work environment. Strong communication and clinical skills are vital for the successful execution of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute health reviews and immunization programs

• Support outbreak management and health surveillance

• Provide clinical interventions and first aid services

• Analyze and submit health surveillance reports

• Collaborate on employee health management claims

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 3–5 years acute care nursing experience necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing preferred

• Understanding of health legislation and regulations
