As a vital member of the outpatient team, you will deliver nursing care that meets high standards. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years in an acute care setting and must hold a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. A.C.L.S. certification is essential or should be acquired at the candidate's expense during employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and families
• Effectively assess and document patient conditions
• Exhibit strong judgement and decision-making skills
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff
• Act as a triage nurse when required
Requirements:
• Current Ontario nursing competence certification
• At least two years experience in acute care
• A.C.L.S. certification needed or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of Nursing Practice Standards in Ontario
• Triage training is advantageous but not mandatory
