As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive primary care by working with a team to support health outcomes for individuals and communities. Your tasks will include assessments, immunizations, chronic disease support, and health education. You will interact closely with patients while ensuring smooth operation in health care delivery across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete client histories and set up equipment for visits
• Triage client needs via telephone and in-person
• Screen and assess clients with minor illnesses
• Perform vital nursing skills like injections and wound care
• Maintain accurate health records and manage supplies
Requirements:
• Current registration as RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1-2 years of experience in primary care
• Knowledge of community health resources
• Effective communication in English, second language is an asset
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
