In your role as a Registered Practical Nurse, you will offer essential support and direct clinical care within a collaborative healthcare team. Your duties will include performing assessments, administering vaccinations, and educating patients about their health needs. This position allows you to directly affect community health equity in the Waterloo Region by addressing individual and family health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments and triage responses
• Deliver nursing tasks such as wound care and vital sign checks
• Administer vaccines following Ontario guidelines
• Keep accurate health records and manage medical supplies
• Participate in quality audits and team meetings
Requirements:
• Active Registered Practical Nurse designation in Ontario
• 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Effective communication abilities in English
• Knowledge of community resources is beneficial
• Willingness to work flexible hours
