As a Permanent Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse, you will engage directly with a diverse client population and enhance community health. Key skills include triaging, wound care, and administering clinical functions while adhering to regulatory standards. Your contributions will support local health promotion initiatives and clients facing health inequities in the Waterloo Region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete brief client histories and set up for visits
• Triage clients efficiently via phone or in person
• Assess minor illnesses using established protocols
• Perform clinical nursing duties and coordinate with providers
• Maintain accurate health records and update clinical notes
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of experience in primary/community care
• Competent in Microsoft Office and electronic health records
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
