As a part of the Mental Health and Addictions Program, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to provide comprehensive assessments, treatment interventions, and discharge planning for young patients. This role emphasizes compassionate care and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate patient assessments and develop crisis plans
• Coordinate and execute treatment interventions for youth
• Work collaboratively with service providers and families
• Support group facilitation and therapy sessions
• Uphold safety standards within the clinic environment
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Preferred BScN degree and 1-3 years of mental health experience
• Familiarity with psychiatric nursing standards and treatments
• Strong assessment and risk management skills
• De-escalation training and CPR certification
